MS Access Error “The Search Key was not found in Any Record”

"The search key was not found in any record"

Cause to this behavior of MS Access



This error message generally occurs due to corruption in MS Access database .MDB file. Due to the corruption, the database Jet Engine can't find the database object required to initialize the database.



Resolution to this error



To fix this error, you can use inbuilt Access database utility known as "Compact and Repair".

You can perform it by following these steps:



1.Open the MS Access.

2.Click on Tools from menu bar.

3.Select 'Database Utilities -> Compact and Repair Database'. This utility compact the new database with existing database and repairs it.



We can just hope that above method works well, with no interruption. The fact is this 'Compact and Repair' utility works in some cases of database corruption and usually fails in high degree corruption cases.
